Deep Media
Corporate Office
A 16,500 sq ft headquarters for a creative media company — a brief that required the space to embody the energy and confidence of the brand itself. The design establishes its character at ceiling level and builds the entire spatial identity from there. The exposed black ceiling is the design's most deliberate move: stripped of all conventional office aesthetics, the raw structure becomes a canvas for a dramatic lighting installation — clusters of circular pendant rings at varying heights, copper-toned pendants suspended between them, and sinuous white LED arcs that sweep across the darkness like the arc of a broadcast signal. The ceiling reads simultaneously as industrial and theatrical, establishing an atmosphere that is neither a conventional office nor a conventional creative studio. Against this bold overhead, the floor plane is broken into distinct activity zones through organic means: white biophilic workstation dividers with integrated planted troughs separate teams while maintaining visual connection. Circular and curved communal workstations encourage collaboration without prescription. The scale of the space — visible in the bird's-eye space plan — reveals the planning intelligence beneath the aesthetic confidence: each zone has been positioned to optimise natural light, acoustic separation and circulation flow simultaneously. Director cabins are enclosed with glass partitions and finished with dark-stained timber shelving that brings gravitas and privacy without isolation. The motivational typographic wall installations throughout the open plan — large-scale, bold, direct — are a design strategy as much as a cultural gesture, reinforcing the brand's tone of voice at every turn.
